The Majlis As-Shura, Universal Muslim Business Association, & Nicetown Community Development Corporation have agreed to form a Unified Muslim Coalition (UMC) in March 2025. This comprehensive approach towards community development offers a 360-degree collaboration addressing religious, secular and business advancements.
The Majlis Ash-Shura acts primarily as a consultative body of Imams and other community stakeholders.

Nicetown CDC's "mission is to dynamically improve the quality of life in Nicetown (a neighborhood in Philadelphia) and surrounding communities, by establishing sustainable community economic development." Public safety, mobilization through re-education and training, affordable housing development, commercial corridor revitalization, arts & culture, and land care, NTCDC acts a pivotal organization in the Phialdelphia community.
